and supreme care to our people.

Every day here
is extraordinary

Located in Ogden, Utah, Hill is the Air Force's third largest installation by population and size. Because the base houses many operational and support missions, working here – military, civilian or in some other capacity – is truly exciting.

Inside the Base

Operated by the 75th Air Base Wing, Hill is home to two active duty fighter wings (the 388th and 419th) and several other organizations that help keep our Airmen combat-ready and prepared to deploy at a moment’s notice. In addition, the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) are located here.

The AFSC supports the maintenance mission for many of the country’s best-known warplanes. Experts work in highly specialized maintenance facilities, designed and built for the unique task of providing scheduled and emergency repair, modification and overhaul to an extensive fleet of weapon systems and support equipment — such as the F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor, F-16 Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt (aka, the Warthog), the C-130 Hercules and T-38 Talon.

The AFNWC maintains the readiness of America’s nuclear arsenal. The skilled professionals at the AFNWC look after the needs of Minuteman III ICBM program assets. They also have the lead role in the ICBM replacement program, know as Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD). If you’re one of the best and brightest in your field, you can help make the GBSD the most effective, flexible and responsive weapons system on the planet.
